My goals for the week/month
So tomorrow is the first day of classes for my college! I am nervous but also excited. I wished I had lost more weight over the summer…I had planned to be at 175 and that never happened…but I might still shock some people who haven’t seen me in a while! I can’t decide what to wear…I might wear one of my new skirts but showing my legs makes me nervous and I don’t want to be nervous on the first day…
I am going to outline my goals for the week or rest of month. I dug it back up on the Wildcats forum and figured it would be easier to make sure I am meeting my goals if I could easily find it in my blog.
The first week of classes is tough for me. Well the semester is tough because I feel obligated to put studying before working out/excercise and BS. So that is tough to juggle. Also, food wise there is just cafeteria food that is either unhealthy or expensive since they even weigh your salad. I avoided this alot last semester by bringing things like a bag of lettuce, my own dressing so I know those calories and even things like cucumbers and green peppers. However…these meals often did not have much protein and I don’t like chicken…
To solve this I am going to use my organic peanut butter (no trans fat), whole wheat bread and bananas to make sandwiches. I don’t think meat or tuna will keep. Still it is more protein than compared to a salad w/ no meat. I also carry little snack bars like the kashi or south beach ones in case I get hungry in between classes. I could also bring any fresh fruit if I have things like grapes or strawberries. Basically I want to avoid the vending machine! Don’t tell me, but there are M&Ms in the vending machine! It is better if I don’t know that…
Exercise:
I am going back to the Shred I think. One Monday, Wednesday, Fridays I am hoping that I will have time to do my pilates, Shred and the Firm Upper body sculpting. Then my Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays will be open for cardio and catching up on all of my work. I will alternate Tae Bo, the stepper and I want to get back to walking outside if the weather is nice and it doesn’t affect my allergies too much. I will also carry my pedometer to make sure I am walking and active during the day.
Do I look like I lost many inches over the summer? (I haven’t been tracking inches lost since Curves used to measure me)
Before: (May 12)
After/Current: August 4
Saturday I almost ate a whole cantaloupe! If you don’t already eat them, try one, they taste good!
I am nto a cantaloupe fan ick not my thing. my family loves them though.
As for your lunch. yep pack it. get protein bars maybe too. fiber one bars are yummyI am addicted to the ones with chocolate they are so good.
Beef jerky how about that for protein.
If you have a little cooker some cracker barrel cheese and some salami will hold well in there as well
just a thought

You look great!!!!
I think your eating plan sounds great! You have many good ideas for lunches, you’ve got nothing to worry about- just stick to it! : )
You do look thinner. You’ve definitely lost inches! Keep up the great work! Buy a little cooler to keepin your car and then you can have all kinds of stuff for lunch. That’s what I do. Good luck. I’m right there with you on trying to juggle it all. See my schedule in the forum.
